Start with a Georgia state-approved nurse aide training program. Your training provider prepares you for the knowledge and clinical skills required for entry-level nurse aide work.

Register with Credentia
After training, create a Credentia account and complete Georgia's online examination application. Credentia processes applications and schedules the state competency exams.

Pass both exam parts
Pass the Written or Oral Examination and the Skills Evaluation. Georgia requires both parts before a candidate can be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.

Confirm your registry listing
Once both exam parts are passed and your record is processed, confirm your listing on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry before presenting yourself as a Georgia CNA.
