These items are not required to submit your registration. Exact requirements depend on the clinical site assigned to you.
- Be prepared to complete a background check and drug test.
- TB testing, flu vaccination, COVID-19 vaccination, or other health documentation may be required by the assigned clinical site.
- We will explain the specific requirements after your clinical placement is assigned and before you attend that site.

Approved experience may shorten your course
Competency Credit is a formal review of healthcare experience you already have. If approved before your program begins, credit may be applied to eligible portions of the course so you do not repeat skills you can already demonstrate. This can reduce your required training hours and shorten your individual course plan.

How to request Competency Credit
- 1Contact our office to complete the Work Experience Transfer Equivalency Evaluation Form.
- 2Have your previous work experience verified by your employer or human resources department.
- 3Complete a clinical skills validation with a licensed clinician.
- 4Receive written approval before your program start date.
Approval is required before your program starts.
Credit is not automatic or guaranteed. Only portions approved through the evaluation may be credited. Every student must complete all remaining required training and meet all certification-eligibility requirements.
MedAssist Ultimate Success™ Support Add-On Package (Additional Fee)
Optional add-on — additional fee
This package is not included in the $2,199 course tuition or standard registration. The package fee is charged separately when selected.
An optional support upgrade for Medical Assistant students who want additional structure and preparation beyond the standard CCMA course.
The package includes:
- Additional learning support — Adds extra support resources to reinforce the knowledge and clinical skills taught in the standard program.
- Certification preparation — Provides added structure for students preparing for their national CCMA certification exam.
Package details: Package contents, eligibility, and the separate add-on fee are reviewed before selection. This package is not included in standard CCMA tuition or registration.

Program Length & Structure
Exact program length: 20 Weeks
- The Medical Assistant cohort runs for 20 weeks.
- Training includes scheduled live Microsoft Teams lectures, required in-person clinical and laboratory sessions, and an externship of at least 60 hours.

Tuition & Additional Costs
Total tuition: $2,199.
- Instruction, clinical and laboratory training, required digital learning access, and standard course materials are included.
- The optional MedAssist Ultimate Success™ Support Add-On Package is not included in tuition and requires an additional fee.
- The NHA CCMA certification exam fee is not included in tuition. Screening, medical requirements, transportation, externship-related costs, other optional products, and replacement supplies may also be separate.
Seat reservation: $99 is due to reserve a seat when selecting the pay-in-full option.

Certification & Exam
