Course Requirements
- Age: 18 or older.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
Prepare for Clinical-Site Requirements
These items are not required to submit your registration. Exact requirements depend on the clinical site assigned to you.
- Be prepared to complete a background check and drug test.
- TB testing, flu vaccination, COVID-19 vaccination, or other health documentation may be required by the assigned clinical site.
- We will explain the specific requirements after your clinical placement is assigned and before you attend that site.

Home Health Aide Success Support Add-On Package (Additional Fee)

- Additional learning support — Adds extra resources to reinforce caregiving, safety, and home-management skills from the standard HHA course.
- Optional exam preparation — Provides added preparation support for students who choose to pursue the optional national HHA certification exam.
What You’ll Learn
The Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Program uses scheduled live online lecture calls through Microsoft Teams plus required in-person skills labs. Students gain foundational knowledge in caregiving, client interaction, safety, and home management while preparing to support individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and aging-related needs. This program is not a state-licensed certification but demonstrates competency in home health care.
The Home Health Aide Training Program curriculum is based off the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services HHA Standards.
Program Length & Structure
Exact program length: 3 Weeks (75 Hrs)
- The Home Health Aide cohort runs for three weeks and includes 75 training hours.
- Training includes 45 hours of scheduled live Microsoft Teams lectures and 30 hours of required in-person skills-lab training.

Tuition & Additional Costs
Total tuition: $439.
- All materials and resources required for the Home Health Aide course are included.
- The optional Home Health Aide Success Support Add-On Package is not included in tuition and requires an additional fee.
- The optional NCCT HHA certification exam costs $70 and is not included in tuition.
Seat reservation: $99 is due to reserve a seat when selecting the pay-in-full option.

Optional HHA Certification (NCCT or NAHP)
The state of Georgia does not license Home Health Aides (HHAs). However, Winder CNA Training is an authorized training provider of NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) and NAHP (National Association for Health Professionals) . Students who complete the Home Health Aide Training Program may choose to take a certification exam through these organizations to enhance their credentials and career prospects.
Certification Details:
The certification exam is optional and not required for employment as an HHA in Georgia.
Certification exams are administered through NCCT or NAHP and can provide an additional level of professional recognition.

The cost of the certification exam is not included in the program tuition.
Students interested in pursuing certification will receive guidance on how to schedule and prepare for the exam upon course completion.
