WIOA Funding for Healthcare Training in Georgia

Winder CNA Training accepts approved WIOA funding authorizations. Your local WIOA office—not Winder CNA Training—decides eligibility, approves the program, and determines which costs are covered.

How WIOA works

Three steps before you start class

1

Contact your local WIOA office

Your local office checks your eligibility. Winder CNA Training cannot approve WIOA funding.

2

Get written approval

Confirm that your course and covered costs are included in your approved training plan before you register.

3

Choose your course

After approval, select a course date. We will provide the acceptance information your WIOA office needs.

Start with your local WIOA office. Register only after you receive approval for your selected program.

Register for the exact program on your authorization

Use these registration links only after your local WIOA office has approved Winder CNA Training and the specific program you selected. If the program name on your written authorization does not match, contact your WIOA representative before registering.

After an approved student submits the correct sponsored registration, Winder CNA Training provides the acceptance information needed for the WIOA process. Your local office remains responsible for final authorization and covered costs.

What funding may cover

Ask your office what is included in your plan

Coverage varies by person and local office. These are common categories—not a promise of payment.

Approved tuition and fees

WIOA may cover up to 100% of costs approved in your individual training plan.

Books, supplies, and exams

These costs may be covered when your local office includes them in the approval.

Support services

Some participants may receive help with transportation, childcare, or other barriers. Ask your local office.

WIOA questions

Clear answers before you apply

What is WIOA?

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act is a federal workforce program. It helps eligible people train for employment. Local workforce offices manage eligibility and approval.

Who may qualify for WIOA funding?

People who are unemployed, underemployed, low-income, veterans, young adults, people with disabilities, and others facing barriers to work may qualify. Your local WIOA office makes the final decision.

Can WIOA cover all of my tuition?

Approved students may have up to 100% of approved tuition and related costs covered. Coverage is not automatic. Your local office decides which course and costs are included in your training plan.

Should I register before WIOA approves me?

No. Contact your local WIOA office and receive approval before registering for a course as a WIOA-funded student.

Which Winder CNA Training programs can I ask WIOA about?

Ask your local office about CNA, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, and Medication Aide training. The program must be approved in your individual plan before enrollment.
